The Simi Valley Police Foundation is accepting golfers for its Dog Days of Summer Golf Classic on Thurs., Aug. 29 at the Moorpark Country Club, 11800 Championship Drive.

Registration will take place at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m.

Actor Patrick Warburton, who has appeared in TV shows such as “Seinfeld,” “Rules of Engagement,” “Family Guy” and “The Tick,” will be on hand to support the police foundation.

All proceeds from the event will go to the police foundation, which supports the men and women of the department by providing training and equipment.

The $175 fee includes a box lunch, green fees, golf cart, driving range, prizes, refreshments during the tournament and dinner.

The $195 VIP upgrade fee features all of the above plus two mulligans as well as longest drive and closest-to-the-pin contests.

Guest dinner tickets are $35.
