No. 1 Ohio State found itself down 21-7 at halftime, but battled back in the third quarter to outscore No. 8 Wisconsin and take a 24-21 lead into the final quarter. It was a much needed rally for the Buckeyes, who took repeated punches to the mouth early and were staggered. They regained their feet, quickly, as they put together a 5-play, 75-yard touchdown drove to open the second half. Then, following a three-and-out, Wisconsin’s punter plain dropped the football while going to kick it, setting Ohio State up inside the red zone.
Wisconsin’s defense held the Buckeyes to a field goal that time, but after Wisconsin missed a field goal of its own, Ohio State responded with another touchdown drive to take its first lead of the night.
As we enter the fourth quarter it’s the Buckeyes with all the momentum and the ball. A touchdown could put this game to bed, so a Wisconsin defense that has four sacks on the night will have to make a play to try to get control of this game back.
