Larson, who has one Cup pole position and one runner-up finish this season, and Bell are set to drive Sept. 4-5 in the BC39 event on the quarter-mile clay track inside the big IMS oval.

Larson has extensive short-track experience in U.S. Auto Club events. Bell, who drives in the Xfinity Series, drove in last year’s inaugural BC39 event. He’s a previous national champ in midget cars.

The BC39 is named in honor of the late Bryan Clauson, a perennial USAC contender and Indianapolis 500 regular from Noblesville, Indiana.

The Brickyard 400 is set for Sept. 8 on the IMS 2 1/2-mile oval.
