Chuck Brennan now has three racers who have bought in for a win-it-all Aug. 13 race for Huset’s Speedway.
The owner of the Brandon dirt racetrack had previously announced one racer: Cory Eliason with his No. 26 Rudeen Racing car and crew chief Tyler Tessemaker.
The additional participants: Aaron Reutzel with his No. 87 Baughman Reutzel Motorsports car and crew chief Grant Boyum, and Daryn Pittman with his No. 83 Roth Motorsports car with crew chief Brent Ventura.
Brennan told the Argus Leader recently he had six racers committed but had yet to release their names. Brennan has tried and failed over the last year to sell the track he bought in 2015 and renamed Badlands Motor Speedway.

The team that wins what Brennan is calling “THE Race” will get the track or a $3.6 million cash. Brennan has said the race won’t take place unless he gets at least 18 cars signed up, at $200,000 each.
The registration deadline is Aug. 6 but Brennan is allowing late sign-ups up until race day for a $75,000 late fee. If he doesn’t get enough racers, those who have signed up will get their $200,000 entrance fee back.
